Retailer Suspension: The Mobile Outlet

It is with regret that I have to announce the suspension of The Mobile Outlet from the website listings with immediate effect.

Unfortunately, the increase in the number of customer complaints that I have had to field recently, coupled with a lack of genuine action to address these complaints on the part of the retailer, has left me with no alternative. In all conscience, I cannot allow this site to continue to pass business their way if I no longer have the confidence that they will treat their customers well.

To anyone who has overdue cashback with this retailer, my advice is simple. Send them a polite but firm letter before action pointing out that they have breached their own contract, requesting payment in full within 7 days and notifying them that failure to pay will result in legal action to recover the remaining cashback. If you do not receive payment in full within this timeframe then commence legal action via the government run Money Claim Online website, claiming full reimbursement of all remaining cashback plus costs.

For anyone considering making a purchase from The Mobile Outlet I would strongly advise that you look elsewhere - there are plenty of alternative mobile phone outlets to choose from in the retailer directory.
